| Other info: | A new type of ship being the first expressly built for the passenger trade to Calcutta, and not belonging to the Honourable East India Company, and was considered the finest vessel of the day.
Wigram's and Green may have had an interest in her, designed by Captain Huddart and managed by Messrs Huddart Brothers for Captain Davey.
1824 - 1829. In the service with the East India Company.

| History: | 15th July 1824. Colonal Joseph Wanton Morrison died at sea while on passage from Calcutta.
5th July 1829. She was subsequently lost in Freshwater Bay, Isle of Wight, on the afternoon of the day she left Portsmouth, by standing too close in to the land, while the captain and passengers were at dinner. One life lost.
